The painting this week was commissioned by Bell Medical, a local dealer of all things anesthesia, as well as general biomed services. The office is covered in fine art, though there just happened to be enough room for one of my baseball paintings. The composition is similar to one I did for the Cardinals World Series Gala last year, but I added “MVP” in the background and red splatter paint (to represent the crowd) to make it one of a kind. It is 22×28 inches, acrylic on canvas.
GREAT ST. LOUIS COFFEE TOUR
My trek today will lead to Cafe Ventana near SLU, a place I’ve been meaning to go to for years, particularly because it serves beignets (French donut made famous in New Orleans, my favorite city for food). Hopefully the 20% chance of rain holds off and I can enjoy the mid-70 degree weather in dry peace. Look for the full recap on Friday!
